Sculptures

Sculpture is my language for expressing thoughts, emotions, and my engagement with the world around me. I primarily work with metal, bronze, and wax, materials that embody opposing qualities.

I am drawn to the resistance of metal, finding satisfaction in bending rigid forms and transforming hard surfaces into expressive human faces. In contrast, wax offers softness and immediacy; it yields easily and allows intuitive control. The tension between strength and fragility, permanence and impermanence, lies at the core of my practice.

Installations

Installation is an extension of sculpture for me. The arrangement can occupy an entire space, moving beyond a single, isolated object. Designing an environment where viewers can move around the work, or even be immersed within it, has drawn me toward this medium. The possibility for audiences not only to observe but to experience the space, spending time within the work and engaging with it physically and mentally, is at the heart of my interest in installation.

Performances

Performance, for me, is where my body becomes a moving sculpture. This medium creates the strongest connection between artist and audience, as the experience cannot occur without the presence of the artist. The work can only be fully experienced when I am present, and the audience’s reactions can become part of the piece, transforming them from passive observers into active participants. I have performed in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Printmakings

The practice of printmaking reconnects me with the fundamentals of drawing, the very foundation of fine art. It allows us to observe the world and translate it into representation. Yet the process of printmaking is full of surprises. It unfolds slowly, teaching and strengthening the artist’s patience. Working repeatedly on the copper plate, printing, examining, and refining, the process can continue indefinitely. Printmaking is where I cultivate both patience and a pursuit of perfection simultaneously.
